The vision and inspiration for my work stem from my incredible mother, Yasmin, who was a true warrior. Despite her illiteracy, she excelled in every aspect of her life. Even though she passed away years ago, I find it difficult to speak of her in the past tense. Yasmin never judged anyone based on gender or imposed stereotypes; she believed in individuality and often said, "You can be more masculine by showing your femininity." This belief, along with the principle of "My body, my choice," greatly influenced me to develop my own language and perspective in my designs.
